Solar power generation
We have cut our energy use with 1,000 kW of solar generation outside our factory and 800 kW within it.
The entire plant is fitted with LED lighting to minimise power consumption.
Going green isn't a short trip. It's a long journey. Renewable energy, water recycling and native forests are part of how we work every day.

We buy paper in the right size to avoid trimming waste, avoid unnecessary solvents and chemicals, and treat and dispose of waste responsibly.

About 2,000 kW of wind power generation supplies green energy to our operations.

Our on-site STP treats domestic wastewater and reuses it for gardening and landscape irrigation. This keeps around 500 trees on campus green in a dry region with a low water table.

Our ETP treats industrial wastewater, reducing BOD, COD and suspended solids so treated water meets environmental standards before reuse.

Every drop of rain falling on our factory roofs is collected and fed into two wells on campus. Together that adds up to nearly 100 million litres a year, recharging local aquifers.

We have created two Miyawaki forests with about 3,000 indigenous trees on our farms, with another 2,000-tree forest in progress. We also offer free training to anyone who wants to grow their own.
